  1. Hi CT Chang,

I came across your blog and I have to say your blog gives me hope.

I left a message(comment) in one of your 2010 blog asking about GT supplements. But anyway, my husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and we are trying to start the Gerson Therapy at home. There are so many questions I need to figure out about this GT to help my husband get through this critical time.

I am from Johor Malaysia and currently living in United States. If you don't mind, can I give you a call to get some information from you?

I would really really appreciate your help here. I am looking forward to hear from you soon.

    Thanks so much in advance,
    Juliana

  2. Hi CT

I have followed some of your blogs. I realized that your body has weakened considerably. Do your best to strike a balance between yin and yang.
Take Chinese barley in high concentration to shrink the tumour. Now Chinese barley is cooling so you can add some ginger and garlic. Better still you can cook with rice which can be on a ratio of 50/50. Avoid taking ginger alone because it may be too heaty for you. Garlic is to remove gas while ginger water in your body.
You can also take ‘xia gu chao’ pronounce in Mandarin to shrink the tumour. Xia gu chao can be used for most cancer. Now this is cooling so you can balance it with some ‘dang shen’ which is for the yang energy. Don’t take too much dang shen because it can be heaty. In Chinese medicine, it is important to adjust the quantity yourself which may have to change according to your health. For instance, if you are cooling, put more dang shen but not too much, in moderate.
Take wolfberries to increase your kidney yin. You can also substitute with sesame powder is you cannot find wolfberries. The sesame must be in powder because the seeds can damage the stomach. The kidney yin is critical for your health.
Since you are bleeding, you can take ‘xian her cao’ pronounce in mandarin. Xian her cao is anti-tumour and stops bleeding. Boil together with xiao gu cao and dang shen. Again adjust the quantity to suit your current condition. This is normally through trial and error so measure the quantity and log it down. If your gums is bleeding, do take vitamin c.
Coffee and tea is rather cooling and it weakens the body. Since you are quite cooling now, I suggest you stop temporarily. We still need some yang for bowel movement and etc. If you have bowel problem, you can take mix some green bean with Chinese barley.
Take morning sunlight daily before 9 am to boost your yang energy. Walk and swing your hands in the park for at least 4 hours a day. Morning walk 7-9 am while evening walk 5-7 pm. One hour casual walk is about 4 km. If the weather is bad or environment unsafe, you can walk or ‘stationary march’ and swing your hands at home. Walking and swinging the arms will improve your health (increase red and white blood cell production, improve lymphatic flow, etc) significantly to fight cancer.
The above treatments are not expensive.
    May all blessings be yours.

  3. Dear Juliana,

Can you please drop me an email (jchangct@gmail.com) so that I can email you some information?

Depending on where you want to do the therapy, either in the USA or in Johore, I can let you know where to get the supplements nearest to you. If you are in the USA (especially in California), you may want to consider going to Gerson Clinic in Tijuana, Mexico before starting the therapy at home. I can also give you the contact details.
